Grace Full Heart Weight Loss

WINNING in WEIGHT LOSS! YOU can win too! Journey with me to find out HOW!

Chobani grapefruit and pumpkin yogurt

Hi Everyone,

First week back to work full-time for me, after a summer of part-time work, began this past Tuesday following Labor Day.  What a big adjustment alongside the start of school, confirmation, sports schedule change, youth group for the kids, etc. Anyway, just getting back to a new post.

I found preparation to be so key to being organized.  We are about to put our house on the market to move in with my parents.  Their house is big enough and my entire family is excited about it – the ENTIRE family – but that’s beside the point.  I am talking about the amount of non-routine-ness (my own word!) in my life right now and the havoc it is threatening to wreak!  I have lost a few things and been a tad overwhelmed but only because I’ve been striving for constant pre-planning in all areas that am I even keeping my head above water!

I have prepped some of the proteins for the start of the week and thought I’d give you a look at 2 new marinades/sauces I’ve tried – both Lawrys – Teriyaki with Pineapple Juice, and Herb & Garlic with Lemon Juice.  Low sugar, low fat – delicious!

I also discovered TWO NEW, EXCITING-TO-ME Yogurt flavors – “LIMITED BATCH” by Chobani.  They are not non-fat but are low-fat and absolutely delicious for something new – a treat.  The Pumpkin Spice is so good for the Fall feeling I am craving now…and the Grapefruit is refreshing.  Take a look.  I’m going to go on the hunt for more since they are limited.

Let me know in the comments if you try any of these – and what you think of them!

Hi Friends,

I thought I’d take photos this week of all the foods I prepped ahead of time last night – instead of doing a video.  I love prepping ahead of time.  The kids dip into healthy foods after school so they don’t overeat junk.  What you see below is:

Turkey chops with Asian Peanut marinade, chicken tenders with Sesame Teriyaki – w/ Agave Nectar, more turkey chops with Cuban Lime marinade, then more chicken with Greek Feta dressing as marinade.  These are all lean proteins but offer 4 different flavor profiles to switch it up each meal.

Then I washed all the berries and took of stems; bought tangerines and put them in a pretty bowl; and steamed carrots, green beans and cauliflower.  I also washed nectarines and plums for the week and put them out.

Yummy food.  I’ve said this before and it is worth repeating.  When I make a colorful, healthy plate to eat, so many people comment on how inviting and delicious it looks.  It really is yummo too – so why not prep your week?!?!

Here’s to your health!

Hi There – I am answering a call by many to share my weekly food staples. I don’t have fancy video equipment right yet, so see if you can get past my intro which is all face (sorry about that).  I do get you to viewing my foods fairly quickly – so hang in there!  Ha.  Let me know what else you’d like to see and if you are interested in me continuing to share my weight loss journey info/tidbits/tips/recipes/exercises/habits/etc, etc!

Love & good health to you all!
